Re: Dosage of Clomid & risk of twinsFrom: marcia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 11 Jun 2003 15:15:55 -0500 (CDT)
I take 150 mg of clomid. To prevent multiple conception, we do utrasounds to count follicles. Many times I have more than one follicle present. However, usually one follicle is dominant. We we concieved my one year old there were two follicle present and I was actually hoping for twins so that I could be finished. There was one month when I had 3 good follicles and my doctor made some phonecalls to get the risk factor for me. It was about 8 percent chance of concieving 3. If you ar afraid of multiple conceptions, just make sure that you are going in for "egg hunts". At Wed, 11 Jun 2003, Teri wrote: > >I am about to be bumped up to 100 mg of Clomid from 50.
