Possibly pregnant 3 weeks after natural miscarriage.From: ~Stacey~ (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 8 Jun 2003 14:05:14 -0500 (CDT)
Hi, I know you are busy so if you answer this I will be eternally grateful. There is not much posted on the web about this, so I was hoping you would know. I had a miscarriage may 18th, about 3 weeks ago. I know it is said that it is unlikely for a woman to Ovulate before the first period after a miscarriage, but is it possible I did? I really thought that I ovulated on June 1st... 15 days after my miscarriage. Well, my question is, I had intercourse three times that day. Now, 6 days later I have light spotting. It was not very noticable, just some last night, and brown tinged cervical mucus when I wipe. I have read that if you do have any spotting after a miscarriage it is likely that you have not expelled all of the tissues, and you may need a D&C, or have to wait for your next AF to expell the rest. But how do I test for these things? I do not have health insurance and already owe over 3 grand from the miscarriage. If I take a home pregnancy test and it is positive, how do I know the difference between leftovers or a new pregnancy? Thanks so much. -Stacey
