I thought the same thing, actually.. why are all these women in such a hurry to get on with things when they're so close anyway? I thought that, until about a week ago. Now I'm ready to have my body (not my figure, I can care less about that part).... my BODY .. I'd like to stop sharing it now. (it's not even a 'convenience thing' for me.. it actually feels like my body is ready for it to be over)

And, this 'stripping of the membranes' doesn't sound too invasive to me, and seems to be somewhat effective, and commonly done. I have only just learned of it myself.
