Re: 'stripping the membranes'

I was due with my 5th baby, and had my membranes stripped on the 4th June PM. On the 5th June at 8am my waters broke, and I had my baby at 1.28 am. It didn't hurt a bit having it done, but I did have it done at 38 weeks before with another baby and it didn't work.

I think it works in a woman who is ready to have the baby anyway, if it hurts then the cervix is not quite ready yet.
