The count is what matters is what I have been told. If you have been trying all this time, and no luck, it could be time to check out other things. I wasn unable to conceive and was on clomid for over a year. It appeared that I was ovulating, but nothing. Eventually I had a laperoscopy and they discovered endo... really bad.... I minimal symptoms of it; however, the doc said that it was bad enough to prohibit both ovulation and fertilization. They zapped it, and I got preggers the next month. Never give up. There may be a fixable reason around the corner.
