I gave birth via cesarean section 11 months ago. I was just wondering...are there any long term side effects? I have continuously been experiencing an achy sensation in my lower abdomen regularly since the procedure last June; oddly enough more so during inclement weather.

I have asked around and the general consensus is that some mothers who have delivered via this procedure have experienced discomfort up to two years postpartum, while others have had none.

I guess what I am wondering is whether or not after 11 months this achy feeling is really common amongst women who have delivered via this method? Or is it something I should be concerned about?
