Re: BEING REFERRED TO A PERINTOLOGISTFrom: k (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 31 May 2003 07:18:48 -0500 (CDT)
hi, i had a stillborn baby as well and we don't know the cause. in my next pregnancy i had a +ANA titer (similar to FANA) and i was referred to a rheumatologist. he performed labwork every 6wks and followed me in my pregancy to make sure i had no sx's of lupus or other autoimmune disorders. luckily everything turned out fine and i never displayed sx's. there are many sites on the web about these titers and what their results mean. the important thing to know is that a positive test does not automatically mean you have a disorder...it is something to monitor carefully however. good luck-k
