I am supposed to be flying out to be with my sister during her labor with her first child on June 16th. She is due the 17th. Being her first child we assumed that she would go close to or after her due date. She went to the Dr. last week and she was 70% thinned ( or afaced ) and a fingertip dialated. Now a week later she is three centimeters dialated and 80% thinned and she lost her mucus plug yesterday. What are the chances that she will have this baby in the next week? Can she stay this way until her due date?
