Effects on menstral cycle after stopping depo

I was on depo provera for about a year, then in October 2002 they switched me to Lunell. When I went back in November, they did not have any of the Lunell, so they put me back on the depo. When I was on the depo before, I would start spotting, then have a regular period a week before the shot was due, and stop 2 days after I got the shot. After I got the one in November (after being on Lunell), I bleed for 2 weeks. When i went back in February for my next shot, I never did have any spotting at all since November. Due to severe headaches that I have had my doctor wanted me to stop the depo, so my last shot was due May 28th, and I did not get that one. I still have not had any spotting or bleeding at all since November. I did not know if there was a chance that the Lunell messed something up, and if there was a chance that I could be pregnant (since I was sexually active until feb.). I am overweight, so have been told if I was, that I may not gain weight and may not even realize that I was pregnant until I was late in the 2nd trimester. It is just not *normal* for me to not spot or something while on depo, and I have been on and off it for almost 4 years (was on the pill for 6 months, the shot for a year and a half, nothing for 6 months, then the shot for year until now). The last time I missed my shot, I bleed heavily for about a month and returned to regular monthly flows. Anyone help??
