Quad screen resultsFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netFri, 30 May 2003 20:40:45 -0500 (CDT)
I had the quad screen at 18 weeks. There was no elevated risk, but my Hcg was "just above normal range" (according to my doctor). What health concerns are there with elevated Hcg given that the other things on the quad were normal? Shortly after my quad screen, my morning sickness disappeared. Is this a possible indicator that my Hcg dropped right after having had the test? Ultrasound showed single male fetus in 50th percentile with no noticable abnormalities.
