THis whole thread has been too much fun! Probably the most successful thing I started since about 21 weeks ago (he-he, prego humor!) I like Lily, but all those Lily names boil back to Lilit of the anglicized Lilith...

Still keep going back to Zoey Arielle Cohen... not 100% sure, but Zoey just feels nice... though not particularly religious...schucks, I am starting to wonder if I can learn to say and mean "can't have everything." Over the last couple of days, I am not the best on my creativity... one can't have post-partum depression pre-partum can she? I swear, I feel like I am always looking over my shoulder thinking someone is pissed at me or that I have screwed something up... bordering on tiny panics... this hormonal roller coaster has got to come to an end soon! I made myself cry, sure that no matter what my child would one day hate me for the name I gave.

UGH! Valerie >>
>>Actually Lily is short for Lilit or Lilith, which is where the death hag

>Valerie,
>Well Lily could also be short for Lillian! It doesn't have to be Lilit.
>(I didn't realize Lilith was a death-hag-- I thought she was a

>can't Lily be short for Lillian? Surely Lillian isn't another version of
>Lilith?? (I am so hoping you name your baby Lily because I want to name
>my baby Lily but I think she has another name already which is Ella...
>can't seem to talk myself out of Ella, nor my husband ... plus, we had
