My Dr. scheduled me a c section for next Monday because since I had fourth degree lacerations with my first, she says that I have a high risk of getting one again and that it could then get infected and/or cause a fistula, and that if I tear that much there is no garantee of repairing me again correctly and that I could even have bowel movements through my vagina!!! How acurate is this info? I don't even know how or why I tore with the first baby, she was only 7 1/4 lbs, and Im 5'9 and 200 lbs??? Im concerned that this c section could be avoided?
