Lynn, identical twins are completely random. There are a lot of things that can factor into fraternal twins, such as twins on the MOTHER's side, but not the father's. I experienced the same early hardness in my uterus with this pregnancy(2nd), and I was in maternity clothes at 9 weeks...one's body is very different the second time around!
