Hello, I am not a doctor, but I can tell you I did the same thing with this pregnancy, I got a really faint line the first test so waited 2 days and still go a faint line but darker, then I had the idea to go and get first response which was more sensitive test, the lines were there but not as dark as the control line. Then I went a week later, and got 2 fact plus test which 40mil and anyways the first was very faint. I got worried so I took the next one the next day, sure enough very dark. Now I just wished I would have just went to the doctor and got a Hcg test. Less worry b/c even if those lines are getting darker doesn't mean that there isn't something wrong. I just caught me pregnancy at the earliest you can with an hpt. Same can be here, I know you say that your a regular, but unless you know the exact ovulation date, your days can be off. And Plus those hcg levels start out pretty low. The best thing you can do to help give you reassurance it to go to your doctor and have a series of hcg testing done. I have had a blight ovum to plus a spontantous miscarriage. I know how you feel and what you are going through. The best thing I would say is relax, and don't do anymore hpt testing. You are just going to drive yourself crazy, plus spend to much money. I looked and it looks like you concieved between 05/05-05/11/03 so there for you are just getting where you might have a positive hpt test. You are only 4 weeks at most. Maybe, you can talk with your doctor, and address your concern, and s/he will try and get you in sooner, my doctor doesn't even do a visit on hcg test, you just go in and the lab draws the blood and leave. he will call with result. I hope this helps alittle.
