I'm currently 34 years old. I'm 4 months postpartum. The first 3 months after postpartum, I didn't have a period. Within the last 5 weeks, I've had 3 heavy periods, lasting about 5 days each. I'm breastfeeding and not taking birth control. What is going on? Do I need to be worried? My husband and I are both frustrated, but I haven't liked taking birth control.Is there another alternative?
