Diagnosed with EndometriosisFrom: Nina (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 23 May 2003 14:29:29 -0500 (CDT)
I was diagnosed with endometriosis over a month ago, I am at stage II. I haven't had any treatment done for my endometriosis, I am at a watch and wait period to see if progresses. I have always had very regular periods. They are always extremely heavy with terrible cramping and back pain. I am on no meds for this but I am still taking my birth control pills. I was due for my period this past Sunday ( 18th) but it was brown almost pinkish in color. I did this for four days on the fifth day there was some blood but not real red in color and on the sixth day it went back to almost brown. I took a home pregnancy test and it came back negative. But I have had to pee frequently and have had heartburn frequently after eating bland foods. I have been cramping but nothing like in the previous months. The cramping is light. I have also had frequent headaches and backaches. My boobs haven't really been sore until today and they are just slightly aching. I don't know if this is all due to my endometriosis or if I am pregnant. I would love some advice! Thanks!!
