chemical pregnancy or 3rd miscarriage?

I've had 2 miscarriages in the past (5 weeks and 8 weeks). Today I was supposed to be 4 weeks 4 days along and my period started. My HPT was positive at 13 dpo, my HCG was 20 at 14 dpo, but my HPT at 16 dpo was negative. I was wondering if you think the embryo implanted, because I have a 4cm submucous fibroid (posterior, central) that I'm debating having removed and will definitely do it if the embryo couldn't implant properly because of it.
