I am 27wks pregnant and am constipated. Does constipation hurt? I've been getting sharp little pains all over my abdomen (under where the baby is) that almost feels like gas pains. I've been having really small bowel movements and my stools are about the size of marbles. (turning beet red explaining this) I've read in the archives its ok to take a stool softener but I've also read other places online not to take them with aspirin. I am taking a 81mg aspirin daily (due to a high anticardiolipin antibodies count). Should I avoid the stool softener with this dosage of aspirin? TIA!!!
