Hi KM,

I've been having the same types of pains you describe, on and off since the day I thought the baby was dropping. I actually think it might be the baby pushing more on my bowels during a Bh contraction as she gets bigger. My Ob also said "everybody seems to get sore in that area at this stage". With my last daughter, I went into labour spontaneously almost 2 weeks overdue (by u/s, and 6 days late by LMP), and there was no second guessing even my very first real contraction. I instantly knew that's what it was, and she was born 8 hrs later. With this pg, I've had so many different types of pains and stuff going on, that I understand now how women can end up going to the hospital with "false" labour. You'll know when the real thing hits- there's just no mistaking it. Hope it all starts to happen soon for you. I myself am now resigned to in all likelihood even going past my May 30 due date...this little monkey seems to like it in there, just like her sister did:)Darcie
