the term blight ovum is somewhat incorrect, what happens is that the cells which will make the baby do not grow but the cells which make the after birth are still growing, from these cells human chorionic gonadotrophin is secreted,so levels of this hormone is not indicator of healthy baby >At Mon, 12 May 2003, samir fouad Aziz MD wrote:
