Darcie, Sorry to butt in on your conversation w/KM but I understand your frustration about being told that you'll deliver early and then going to (and maybe past) your due date. I battled preterm labor, was put on brethine, and was in and out of the hospital. My baby has been engaged since 34 weeks. I went off the brethine weeks ago and here I am contracting away for the 2nd or 3rd week (I lost count!), 4.5cm dialated and 90% effaced, at 39 weeks. Doctor even stripped my membranes at my last visit and told me that she'd see me over the weekend...and here it is Monday night and still no baby. I'm glad that the baby stayed in this long (I was scared to death that I'd end up delivering preterm) but I hope it's over soon! I'm beginning to have nightmares about being pregnant forever! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy! Alicia
