It can have the reverse effect and stop ovulation! I took it for a year and when i attended a RESOLVE meeting (for infertility) the nurse practitioner as well as all the attendees told me that. I have since found that it can be true for some. I took it too long and went from 50mg to 200mg. All the studies show that taking it more than 3-5 months is futile - Once they have found the dose that gets you to ovulate. Move on to IUI and don't wait like i did - i wasted so much time.
