Re: morning sickness cures? anyone?From: Alicia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 6 May 2003 15:39:04 -0500 (CDT)
Cindy, Throughout my first trimester and into my second trimester, I had awful morning sickness. I had concieved on a very contraversial drug used to treat endometriosis called lupron so I refused all medications my doctor offered for the morning sickness because I was so scared about birth defects. I wish I hadn't. The morning sickness eventually passed but those were the worst 10 weeks of my life! It took a while but I finally realized that as long as I had something in my stomach the nausea wasn't as severe. I carried around ginger ale and saltines everywhere I went up until I was 18 weeks. Eating a couple of crackers before getting out of bed in the morning and eating a few with your vitamin at night before going to sleep (as someone else suggested) definitely helped me. Hopefully it'll be over for ya soon. Good luck! P.S. Someone posted before me said they suffered until 30 weeks - I am so sorry you had to go through that! I couldn't imagine!
