Implantation or Odd Period?

On 04/06/03 period came - I have a normal 28-30 day cycle. Since it was a Sunday, I started back on the pill after being off for a couple months.

On 04/17/03 hubby & I had unprotected sex. Right after, we discussed I would not continue the pill in case we had conceived.

On 04/22/03, I started bleeding again. Not as heavy as a period, there was an even mix of dark red & brown blood & it only lasted a couple days. This irregularity of my cycle is completely odd. I have been regular since I first started.

05/04/03 I was due for my period. Nothing, not even cramping. I may be a couple days late for whatever reason, but because of that irregular bleeding in mid cycle, I have NO idea when I should expect my next period.

So, my question is regarding the irregular bleeding. Could this have been implantation bleeding? Was it from getting off the pill (that I was on only 10 days)? I have felt normal with the exception of some dizziness in the past couple days (but that could be from anything, I know).
