Sebrina- While I do have respect for Dr. Bardales, I do not wish for you to be so very alarmed. I do agree that you should call your doc about this but here is another doc's opinion. I did a quick archive search for you and this is what I found. Hope it helps. Do an archive search and type in "black blood" as the search words. Take care and best wishes.

It may be that the blood "sat" in the uterus for a period of time prior to making it through the cervix. I would not be concerned about this... Lynn
