GO BACK TO YOUR PERI!! your doc sounds like a jerk!..you know your own body,and if he is not willing to listen that can cause serious problems!i cant believe they dont check your urine, i seen a doc every week with my last pregnancy i didnt get seen until i had my urine checked,as soon as you sign in they give you a cup and until you give them your urine your chart is held. and you being high risk is another concern..my regular ob demanded i see a perinatologist during my last pregnancy ,he says they are more qualified to handle high risk so i did and i had my third c-section at 37 weeks due to a list of things but i too have preterm labor ,i lost twins at 6 months because the doc i had didnt believe in drugs to stop labor,needless to say he is not in practice anymore...you should do what you feel is best for you and your baby,and hey an hour is not that far, that is how far i had to travel once a week and just knowing you will be well taken care of makes it worth it all! but it is your choice of course..good luck to you!!!(((((((hugs)))))))) ladies sorry about anything misspelled or my grammer is wrong i am typing one handed with a hyper 2 yr old in my lap..lol kris
