Lower abdominal pain @ 36 weeksFrom: Kathy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 30 Apr 2003 22:24:47 -0500 (CDT)
Is it normal to have sharp pain in the lower abdomen upon coughing, sneezing, or pulling up into a sitting position? It feels like my muscles are ripping apart in that area, and I am worried about pushing during birth. I can even feel the pain sometimes when the baby moves vigourously. I am 36 weeks and this is my third pregnancy. I did not experience this with my first two, and I worry about very thin uterine and abdominal walls.
