Tamara, I don't know that I would worry to much about it. If it really does concern you, you can always ask your doc. I have Congential Heart Disease. Therefore when I get preg I have to see my cardiologist at the beginning of the 2nd trimester. I saw him a couple of weeks ago. They did an echo and I noticed on the screen that it said my heartrate was 82bpm. If you don't know what an echo is its an ultrasound for the heart. That was a resting rate too. The tech was not concerned and neither was the doc. Good luck on the rest of your preg. :) BTW, according to my cardiologist when a woman gets preg her heart enlarges, beats harder and it beats faster.
