Mid Cycle Bleeding / InfertilityFrom: Janice (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 30 Apr 2003 13:21:15 -0500 (CDT)
I have been reading the correspondence to/from Marisa and I must say that I really feel bad for what Marisa is going through but I'm glad to know that I'm not alone. I suffer from the same description of mid cycle bleeding as Marisa. I have two sons though from my first marriage... the oldest just turned 15 and my youngest is 13 1/2... They were both c-sections. Although I had no problems getting pregnant with either of them... I am now having problems conceiving with my second husband. The mid cycle bleeding started after I had my second son. I started going to a fertility doctor for the mid cycle bleeding approximately 7 years ago. I have gone through all the testing with top doctors, yet they have been unable to find anything that would cause the bleeding. It is so frustrating. I'm now 36 yrs. old and have been married to my second husband almost a year. When does one start going to a fertility specialist? My OBGYN doesn't seem to be too worried. He just tells me to relax and stay laying down after intercourse for 15 minutes. I am very anxious and concerned... in your opinion are my concerns valid? or should I just continue doing what my OBGYN has suggested? By the way... Good luck to Marisa... You're not alone!!!
