gum abcess went away, but may be pregnant

I noticed an abcess on my gumline in the back at the end of November. Saw many Dental professionals who varied on their opinions of it, one recommended extraction. I put it off for a bit until I finished some courses, and at the beginning of March, it went away. I have never had pain there, and no sign of it resurfacing. The thing is, if I were pregnant now, would it be best to have it extracted anyway, or should I just have it monitored for a while? I hate to lose a tooth if I don't need to, but I also wouldn't want to pose a risk to the baby if I were pregnant.
