I know that one of the doctors here recently said that you shouldn't
gain any weight in the first trimester anyhow. (try telling that to my
body). Anyhow, I wouldn't worry. In "What to Expect When You're
Expecting" I think it says more than 3 pounds in 1st trimester is
excessive (again, my body disagrees).
