Bleeding during repeat c-section...afraid of happening again

I am a healthy 38 year old.. husband and I are contemplating conception of our fourth baby. I am nervous about a 3rd c-section, due to a very bad experience last time. My first son was born via uncomplicated vaginal delivery. My second son was born via stat c-section at 30 weeks - he had suffered a spontaneous fetal-maternal hemorrhage and later passed away. My third son was born healthy, following scheduled repeat c-sec, I recovered well, but during the actual birth, I experienced abnormal bleeding from my uterus (ob described it as oozing everywhere she touched in one area.. NOT related to previous c-section scar). Although I did not end up losing much blood, the whole experience was very scary....I was awake, and knew my ob was trying several things to stop the bleeding. Lab results on my blood showed my coagulation factors were normal. She was finally able to stop it with surgical foam. Also, because of the extra time due to bleeding, my spinal started to wear off, so I was in excrutiating pain at the end of the surgery and for some time afterward. I am very afraid of a repeat bleeding episode. I am wondering if any other women and/or O.B.s could tell me of their experiences and whether I am at increased risk for a similar bleeding episode, or if it is just one of those instances of every pregnancy being different. My ob says that, otherwise, my uterus looked very good (not a lot of thinning or adhesions) and that she sees no reason for me not to have another baby. So my primary concern is a repeat bleeding episode.
