If you lost your plug, DO NOT sit in water! This can cause infection!! I agree with going back though. They should keep you until you deliver!! Is this a charity hospital?! I can't beleive they'd run the risk of you giving birth at home. I would definitely return and say it is unbearable. As for eating, you should try not to eat too much even though you are hungry because you will HATE sitting on the toilet at the hospital with an IV in your arm for very long after they give you the Enima. That's why they recommend you deliver on an empty stomach because even with the enima you will probably still have a bowel movement (runny, too) during delivery if your stomach is too full.
