miscarriage?!

I have had one previous miscarriage at week 17...I am pregnant again entering the 14th wk. It all began At 9 wks when I had an episode of bleeding. Ultra sounds were done, a heart beat was detected. When I visited my OB. he was satisfied that all was well. Yesterday, I noticed a brownish discharge which I have had today as well but the volume is sporatic and there is only a very small amount. I also have lower back pain to accompany the discharge but No cramps. I am being treated for a yeast infection as per the OB, using monistat. I have called my OB but they did not call back and am very concerned.

Could the discharge be left over blood from the episode at 9 wks? Or is this indicative of something else?
