This is my 3rd successful pregnancy in 3 yrs. My first pg went to 42 weeks and my second to 38 wks. I am currently 24 weeks now and after my husband and I have intercourse, I have this awful kind of burning sensation around my cervix and it feels like the baby will just fall out due to pressure. Then the next day after sex, I have a big glob of discharge that looks identical to the mucus plug along with some bh contractions... Last night I was in so much pain I could barely stand up. It was in my lower ab area near the bladder, my lower back, etc. I had several b/h that were quite painful...just about went to the ER. But after about 4 hours things settled down and today I am just exhausted. Should I be concerned about preterm labor and mention this to my doctor?
