There isn't really anything they can do about GBS except for administering antibiotics in labor as your doctor said. I was diagnosed as having GBS during my first pregnancy. They administered antibiotics via an I.V. during labor and all was well. They went ahead and administered antibiotics when I went into labor with my second child as a precaution due to the GBS diagnosis from my first pregnancy. Best wishes and congratulations. :)
