Pregnant women can bend and stoop, maybe not as elegantly as prepregnancy, but it's not harmful. My mother has yelled at me dozens of times "Don't bend like that, you're gonna get the cord wrapped around the baby's neck!" I so HATE old wive's tales like that! They're not true! I'm sure most of the pregnant women on here have heard others similar to this one. I think that is my biggest pet peeve so far during pregnancy.
