If your doc says you aren't a good candidate, ask him why. Some women have classic uterine incisions (in the upper half of the uterus) that will most likely rupture during a vaginal delivery, therefore VBACs aren't recommended, for the mother's sake as well as the baby's. Other women have the bikini cut (in the lower half of the uterus) and this is the most compatible for VBAC. There is no way of knowing what kind of incision your uterus recieved without speaking to the surgeon who performed your previous c-section. The incision on your uterus could be totally different than the scar you see on your belly. Good luck with everything, I'll keep you in my thoughts. (not a doc...) >
