Safe alternative to Tylenol during pregnancy?

I have been suffering from chronic headaches during my pregnancy (I am 16w2d today). I cannot take Tylenol, as it irritates my IBS and gives me horrible bowel problems. When I was in the ER, they prescribed Butalbital w/ Aspirin & Caffeine for my headaches, and told me that an occassional Ibuprofen was also acceptable. Now my regular OB/GYN said no, I can't take anything with Aspirin and I can't have Ibuprofen ~ it's Tylenol or nothing. Since I can't take Tylenol, it's obviously "nothing" for me.

I have tried warm and/or cold compresses. I've tried increasing my fluid intake. I've tried massage, chriopractic and acupunture. The only thing that has actually relieved the pain so far is the Butalbital w/ Aspirin & Caffeine.

If I can't take that, or Tylenol, is there anything I *can* take safely during my prengnacy?

Thanks so much, Sommer
