I slept in a recliner for the last three weeks of my pregnancy! Keeping semi-upright helps with the heartburn. You might want to at least try it after you wake up for your in the night for your snack. Also, papaya enzyme tablets, available at health food stores, went to work on my heartburn almost immediatley. They are completely safe. Good luck....T.
