hello, I have searched the archives and have found helpful information as to when periods should return after weaning from the breast. However, my periods have returned (after nursing for 8 1/2 months)& I have had 3-4 but they are irregular.

Is this normal and how long on average can I expect it to take for them to resume their regular (28 day ) schedule?
