LH Surge Question, Drs, Ladies please Dr opionion reqFrom: Sarah-Jane (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 4 Apr 2003 19:13:20 -0600 (CST)
Hi, I have taken ovulation predictor kits (OPK) for the last few days. They were negative til yesterday late morning which was cycle day 13 (of 28/29 day cycle), then there was a slight difference between the intensity of the control and test lines, but practically the same shade. So i repeated the test again yesterday night and it is very faint again(test line) TO CLARIFY: test line was then very faint NOT almost the same as the control like it was in the morning. is it likely that it was my LH surge, I have stretchy cervical mucus..or is it likley I am not going to ovulate? How long does the LH surge usually last on OPK?? This was my first month using kit since my last baby (when I am sure the surge lasted longer), and the testers were bought on line reporting 97.8% accuracy prior to 1st baby I used clearplan and my surge was always a day. Thanks!
