2nd baby, 37 weeks - 2cm 50% effaced - can I hope to have awhile before birth?

I don't want to have the baby this week. The new wing of the hospital opens 04/10. Also my last day to work is 04/11 so I would like to have at least a few days off work before I have the baby. I need time to rest!

What have your experiences been? My neighbor came home a couple weeks ago at a 2cm and had the baby a week later.

What are the odds I could have another couple weeks?
