Thanks for your note, Steph. I have yet another beta hCG test tomorrow (my eighth this cycle!) to see how my levels are dropping. I'd hoped to avoid a D&C; as an IVF patient I'd rather not mess with my uterine lining too much. But the possibility of infection definitely does exist, so I'll talk to my doctor.

I'm sorry you experience was so dreadful! I've been suspecting that mine wasn't quite dreadful enough for the miscarriage to have been completed. Thanks again for responding.
