16 weeks pregnant--risks associated with fever

Okay, okay, I know I'm jumping on the hysteria bandwagon, but I'm wondering how an extended high fever (such as the one said to be associated with SARS) would affect a 16 week old fetus. I've read a lot in the forums about fever in the first trimester, but little about second semester risk. Would an extended high fever cause harm at this stage?

Thanks for your help--

Ana
