I started my period 5 days late. I took a pregnancy test the night before and it was negative. I had extreme cramps, bright red blood, feel really swollen inside, and some small blood clots. I am on my second day of my period today and my flow is very light, but I feel very swollen inside. I have a history of very regular, normal periods. Since I stopped taking the pill about 6 months ago, I have started to experience small blood clots with my periods. I am wondering if I am having a miscarriage or just a wierd period..... please advise... Also do I need to go to the doctor after my "period" is over to get evaluated.
