Asherman's symdromeFrom: Julie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 31 Mar 2003 19:43:36 -0600 (CST)
I am a mom who has had "Asherman's Syndrome" (spelling may be wrong). I had a D&C go wrong and resulted in scarring of my ENTIRE uterus. Amazingly enough, I concieved anfter "surgery to remove the scar tissue' and gave birth to a preemie at 31 weeks. Because of this, my tubes were tied & cut (4.5 years ago). Today I am 3 weeks late on my cycle, my breasts are incredibly sore, as are my armpits. What are the chances I am pregnant (my 2 pregnanies before never gave me a positive test until the 2nd month preg.)? And, what is the reality of me having this child, if I am pregnant ? Will it be another preemie? Will it be a tubal and I'll have to abort? I am so afraid to give myself hope. I WANT this baby if I am.......
