If so, does anyone know what the >heart rates are to determine the sex? I think it's a myth, and I actually heard the opposite- slower for a boy, fast for a girl. All 3 of my girls have been in the 140's + range when the hr has been taken-including my current little incubator. My mom swore by this though- said my sister and I were high, my brother's was low...don't forget too that baby's hr's always start out fast during the first trimester when hr can first be heard by doppler AND- it depends on whether babe is awake or asleep when you take it as to whether it's faster or slower- so you'd have to use a doppler or stethoscope and take many readings over time to get an average. My kiddos always woke up when the dr poked around and listened to them. Best wishes, Darcie
