Thanks in advance for >any information. Hi Anonymous1 Congratulations on your baby! I too had PPD, and took Zoloft for 6 months, from when my baby was 12 weeks or so until recently (he is almost 9 1/2 months). I also breast feed exclusively until my baby was almost 5 months, then he got foods as well as breast milk. I never had any problems with the nursing related to the zoloft. I did however voice my concerns to my dr and to the health visitor (in the uk, like home nurse). They both said that Zoloft has been shown to help supply, and advised that I take the zoloft when I am expecting the longest stretch between nursing. My son nursed every 2 hours, and only had one 3 hour stretch last thing at night. I was reassured that this would be long enough to ensure that the amounts which passed into the milk were reduced as much as possible. they did not encourage pump and dump. incidently, my son is doing great! he is bright, happy and healthy . hope this helps, best wishes,
