a little advice?From: Karen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 31 Mar 2003 07:48:04 -0600 (CST)
Hi, I am currently 5 days late for my period. Two days ago I took a hpt and it came out positive but it was faint. Should I book an appointment for my Doctor or should I wait until my period is a full week late? I feel as though my period will still come as I get some bloating at points during the day, I have no breast tenderness although my nipples are a little sore from time to time during the day and this also occurs shortly before my period as well. I would not have suspected anything had my period not been late and I was told that it is common that women suspect even before their period is due because of certain symptoms. Is it common to be completely symptomless except for signs of normal pms? The only thing I had noticed is that I was more tired than usual but I took that as a hard week at work. Anyway should I go to the Doctor or wait? Thank you for your advice.
